The Wisdom of Dale Carnegie

by Fred Hahn on March 14, 2011

I just finished reading a very good book that uses the wisdom of Dale Carnegie as its premise called The Leader in You. I wanted to share the highlights with you all. I think these principles are the kind of things we need to remember and remind ourselves of often.

Post them on your fridge, your bathroom mirror, forehead and heart:

*Look at things from the other person’s perspective
*Offer genuine appreciation and praise
*Harness the mighty power of enthusiasm
*Respect the dignity of others
*Don’t be overly critical
*Give people a good reputation to live up to
*Keep a sense of fun and balance in your life

Wise words to live by!

I've been involved in exercise ever since I became a member of The Charles Atlas Club when I was 10 years old. In 1998, I founded and established Serious Strength on the Upper West Side of NYC. My clients include kids, seniors (and everyone in between), top CEOs, celebrities, bestselling authors, journalists and TV personalities.

Admiring the persistence you put into your site and detailed information you
offer. It’s good to come across a blog every once in a while that isn’t
the same out of date rehashed material. Excellent read! I’ve
bookmarked your site and I’m including your RSS feeds to my Google
account.
