Can You Afford To Eat Well?

by Fred Hahn on January 27, 2014

I saw this on the Let Fat Be Thy Medicine. I hope they won’t mind my shameless promotion of their movie by using this pic.

And…you won’t be buying nearly as many (if any) antacids, acne cream, arthritis meds, cholesterol meds, insulin (if you’re type 2), dry skin salves, eye drops, ear wax removal liquids, cough drops, NyQuil, sleeping pills, Advil, Tylenol, GasX, you’ll make fewer trips to the dentist for cavities, root canals, fewer doctor visits…

Shall I go on????

I've been involved in exercise ever since I became a member of The Charles Atlas Club when I was 10 years old. In 1998, I founded and established Serious Strength on the Upper West Side of NYC. My clients include kids, seniors (and everyone in between), top CEOs, celebrities, bestselling authors, journalists and TV personalities.

Hi Jennifer gal –

Dr. Ornish became the medical editor for the living section of the HP a few years ago. I was blogging for the HP about a year before he came on.

The truth is that Dean Ornish “fired” me, meaning, he and his vegan team refused to publish any of the blogs I wrote that supported a low carb diet. No matter what I wrote, it was rejected. I always supported my blogs with solid scientific support, citing the relevant literature on the subject.

When I wrote to complain and accused them of biased journalism, they used this as a means to get me and refused to publish anything I wrote.

Were I a prominent individual like Dr. Jonny Bowden, they wouldn’t have dared do this but since I’m not it was easy to shut my voice up.

If you think the HP is giving the gen pop unbiased information WRT health and wellness, think again.

Please write to them and ask them to reinstate me. You’ll see that you’ll get no response whatsoever. Ornish is a horses ass.
